This is a worthy feature Apple are working on. There are however some more “mundane” features I’d like Apple to tell me they’re soon going to implement. Especially in their iPhones.

hmm, 1 hour agoIsnt this better if this system is tied into the car system and it calls when actually there i… moreWell there are a few systems, built right into cars since long but the thing is, not all cars have it, cause it raises costs and also such features are not made standard in automobile industry, or even mandated by law. The key difference between that, and this by Apple is, this does not do anything to avoid a collision. Rather it just calls up the emergency services in case of an accident, but the other one in cars actually try to avoid the accident in the first place, by measuring the distances between the vehicle and the objects in front of it. If in case they get too close to the vehicle when driving, it applies the brakes on behalf of the driver because human reflexes can not be as fast as that of a machine and sometime they are too slow to react in time. These type of safety systems are now also found in certain motorcycles as well, and they work by radar or laser, but they try to do the same that is to adjust speeds to avoid a collision

Isnt this better if this system is tied into the car system and it calls when actually there is a crash like car have censors for it. Also it already reacting when you need to stop fast for what ever reason. It it measure acceleration rate and then start to call or do something. I am all for safety measures but i would want it built in to a car. Now think if the fast stopping your phone or watch start to make sound or vibrate it can cause problems too. Also with electric cars when you accelerate fast then it might also work. it’s hard to understand this system
